El Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT) ha intensificado su vigilancia en la certificación de Impuesto al Valor Agregado (IVA) e Impuesto Especial sobre Producción y Servicios (IEPS) debido a múltiples incumplimientos detectados en el primer semestre de 2023.
SAT: Incumplimientos y cancelación de certificaciones
Durante el primer semestre de 2023, el SAT identificó que 513 empresas, incluyendo 50 grandes contribuyentes de los sectores textil, aluminio, acero y automotriz, no cumplieron con los requisitos y obligaciones de certificación de IVA e IEPS.
Como resultado, las visitas de supervisión a empresas con certificación se han cuadruplicado y se ha cancelado de manera definitiva el 75% de dichas certificaciones.
Fortalecimiento de la vigilancia
El Servicio de Administración Tributaria, a través de la Administración General de Auditoría de Comercio Exterior (AGACE), ha intensificado la vigilancia en la certificación mediante monitoreos a empresas certificadas en la modalidad de IEPS e IVA.
Estas medidas buscan combatir el uso incorrecto de los beneficios fiscales y asegurar que las empresas cumplan con sus obligaciones tributarias.
Monto presuntivo pendiente de créditos fiscales
Como consecuencia de las cancelaciones de certificaciones, el monto presuntivo pendiente de créditos fiscales generados por las empresas durante el primer semestre de 2023 asciende a 8,324 millones de pesos en concepto de IEPS e IVA.
Esto representa un incremento del 34% en comparación con el mismo periodo del año anterior y tres veces más que en 2021.
Estas acciones son fundamentales para promover un entorno de negocios transparente, así como para asegurar el cumplimiento de las obligaciones tributarias y mantener la equidad en el sistema tributario del país.
